Fungicolous on a fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum in terrestrial habitats. Asexual morph: Conidiophores hyaline, pyramidal with opposing branches, each branch terminating in a whorl, whorls typically cruciate but often nearly verticillate, with 2–5 phialides. Phialides hyaline, solitary from the main axis, ampulliform to lageniform, typically constricted below the tip to form a narrow neck, 5.0−9.5 × 3.0−4.0 μm ( = 6.5 × 3.2 μm, n = 20). Conidia hyaline when young, becoming green to dark green with age, globose, subglobose, aseptate, smooth-walled, 2.0−3 × 1.8−2.5 μm ( = 2.5 × 2.2 μm, n = 30). Sexual morph: Undetermined.
